The Northeast Florida Lionfish Roundup is a community effort to protect our reefs from invasive Lionfish. With no natural predators, they rapidly deplete native fish, harming our ecosystem.
Whether you're a seasoned diver or new to the challenge, every Lionfish removed helps restore balance!
The 1st Northeast Florida Lionfish Roundup in 2024 was a huge success, bringing together 42 participants across 11 teams to help remove 1,487 Lionfish from our waters!
With 9 boats competing, Team Downtime led with an impressive 478 lionfish, followed by Paragon with 397. The largest lionfish caught measured 16.25 inches (Matt Myers), while the smallest was 3.75 inches (Tim Cullen).
Thanks to our dedicated divers, this tournament made a real impact in protecting our reefs — let’s go even bigger in 2025!
